Our Leadership

Zak Graves (Pastor/Elder)

Prior to being the planting pastor for Providence Reformed Church, I’ve had the privilege of serving in formal ministry for 10 years. My formal studies, two undergraduate degrees (Pastoral Ministry, Bible & Theology) and one graduate degree (MA Organizational Leadership), were merely the foundation for the years of experience serving and growing within Christ’s Church.

For over 9 years I pastored at Doxa Church, serving alongside several faithful pastors and staff members, growing in the rhythms of preaching, teaching, counseling, conducting weddings, funerals, and aiding the leadership and logistics of a larger church environment. It was my joy to serve and I would have continued longer had the Lord not carved out a pathway for church planting.

Growing as a student of God’s word and church history, my conviction for reformed soteriology grew to an appreciation of the reformed tradition as a whole, which in turn led to an opportunity to plant a confessionally reformed church in the Roseville area.

Being my home town, I long to see Roseville, Placer County, and California as a whole bow to King Jesus. I pray that Christ’s Church would increase it’s presence institutionally, and that Christians would live on mission where they are, building a legacy that points to the glory of our great God. Glory that WILL cover the whole earth as waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).

Our Elders

Providence Reformed Church is in partnership with Church of the King Sacramento (CREC); we are presently submitted to the authority of Church of the King’s Elders until those qualified for the office of Elder are commissioned within Providence Reformed Church.
